As you all know by now, I am  most fortunate to have been appointed as one of 10 social media bloggers (Woot-Woot), to be a Xlear Ambassador for the 2013 calendar year.  As part of my partnership with Xlear, I’ll be posting throughout the year, letting you know about their products, my (and my family’s) experience with them, and giveaways of Xlear products.

The Xlear line of products is one that I have and will continue to use.  I must say that my absolute favorite product is Xlear’s Spry Xylitol Toothpaste.  I love the taste, the feel of the way it leaves my mouth and teeth, and of course, the positive dental benefits.  My husband likes the toothpaste too, but he is any even bigger fan of  Xlear® Nasal Spray

We both have allergies and suffer from air born allergens. I use the Xlear® Nasal Spray, but I’ve never been able to master the use of Neti pots (maybe because I have a deviated septum – or that I’m just a wuss and have an overactive gag reflex) , but my husband has been a user for years, since he was introduced to them, via my best friend.  Although he has been happy in the past,  he never quite got the same relief, as he has had with the Xlear Sinus Care Neti.

We are right in the middle of the cold and flu season.  Practicing personal hygiene and taking sensible precautions, can help to ward off those nasty germs that are so prevalent at this time of year.  Using a product like the Xlear Sinus Care Neti, can be a helpful part of your health regime.

Here is some information, directly from the company:

Sinus passages are the body’s first line of defense. With every breath a person takes, the nasal and sinus passages filter airborne contaminants and pollutants from the air, which help that person stay healthy and enjoy a better quality of life. The Xlear Sinus Care Neti puts a new twist on the age-old practice of using a neti pot to clean, soothe and moisturize the sinuses. Used for moderate congestion, Xlear’s patented xylitol-infused neti pot solution will clear sinuses of debris and contaminants that build up and can lead to infections. It should be used for seasonal sinus concerns, nasal dryness, exposure to any airborne contaminants, or exposure to a cold, dry or smoky environment. Retailing for $14.95, it can be purchased at www.xlear.com.

I’m all for products that help to not only alleviate symptoms, but that can help to prevent infection. If you have trouble with allergies, dryness, and/or congestion, I highly recommend trying the Xlear line of sinus care products. I think that you’ll find that they will provide safe relief at a very reasonable price.

I have received a Sinus Care Neti from the Xlear company, at no charge to me, to facilitate this posting.  The opinions expressed are 100% Mine.  As with any product – always read and follow instructions and warnings on labels.

Thanks for the information on the Xclear nasal spray for allergy relief, because my daughter suffers from unknown allergens (they’ve tested her for everything) and the only thing that seems to give her any relief is Allegra. Ugh I do not like the fact that she has to take two pills a day.

I have not used a neti pot before. I’ve heard a lot about them but I have been a little intimidated by the process (that and I’m not exactly sure how to use it). But I have terrible sinus/allergy problems and being able to breathe would be worth a little bit of discomfort …if that’s even the case…

  14. Jennifer Mae Hiles says:

This would be great for my daughter also, she’s never used one either but we both have terrible sinus problems

  15. Jessica Lodge says:

I have never tried one of these. Honestly I’m a little scared to, but I hear such great things about it I think I will the next time I get congested.

  16. I never had a problem with dry nose until this year and it is so bad that it’s cracked inside. I would love to give this a try.

The Xlear Sinus Care Neti puts a new twist on the age-old practice of using a neti pot to clean, soothe and moisturize the sinuses. This is just what I need for the sinus infection that I have so I’m going to give it a try. The other products I’ve tried have left my nose to dry so this may do the trick. thank you for the review.
